CC1200EMK-868-930: CC1200EMK-868-930 Tx and Rx Communication

Part Number: CC1200EMK-868-930
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: CC1200

Hello,

I have 2 CC1200EMK-868-930, I have connected both CC1200EMK-868-930 to EM Adapter booster pack and both setup is connected to CC debugger (CC1200EMK-868-930 ---->EM Adapter ----->CC Debugger --->Smart RF studio)

I have Installed the Smart RF studio 7 in my windows PC.

I am able to Detect Both Setup in my Smart RF studio

Both Tx and Rx are running with same configuration.

When i am trying to communicate both Device with the help Continues Tx and Continues Rx in the Smart RF studio, Continues packet reception is not happening in receiver node.

Let us know if i am missing something.

Thanks in Advance

  • Hi Mahipal,

Continues Tx and Continues Rx are not used to transmit or receive any packets, it is just used to transmit a continuous wave/signal (continuous TX) and continuously measure the RX power (continuous RX). If you want to transmit and receive packets, you need to use Packet TX and Packet RX.

What do you mean with "Continues packet reception is not happening in receiver node"? Are you not able to start the test, or do you not see the result that you expect?

    Thanks,
    Nikolaj

  • Hello Nikolaj,

    There is no result.

I used Packet Tx and Packet Rx too. but result comes same, no packet transmission or reception

I tried the same setup with CC1312 launchpad, In CC1312 Packet Transmission and packet reception is happened.

    Thanks

    Mahipal Rathod

  • Which setting are you using on the CC1200? If you are using the default setting that use a narrow RX BW it could be a frequency offset issue.
