Hello, I'm currently working on some applications using Wi-SUN and I would like to know if there is an estimate of when the support to OAD will be released.

Also, i've read in the documentation about TI's Wi-SUN stack that the network was tested with only 25 nodes (under section 10 of the Software Product Brief). Are there plans for official tests of bigger networks with more than 100 nodes?

Our main goal is to test the efficiency of the network with real applications. It's important to know if the stack can handle at least more than 300 nodes.

    We have performed a test with 100 nodes. The border router example with the CC1352P7 or CC1312R7 supports up to 100 nodes. This limitation is due to the limited memory on the device.

    The OAD feature can be expected around January next year.

    Even if a single Border Router can support up to 100 nodes, we should still be able to scale the mesh network by adding more border routers, right? (Table 7.2 of the Software Product Brief).

    Yes, it should be possible to extend the mesh with more Border Routers, but this backhaul connectivity is not supplied by the Wi-SUN stack itself and needs to be maintained by the user.

    Just to clarify the above answer further, in this architecture, each Border router will have its own Routing table and mesh network. And as mentioned above, the connection between the border routers is maintained by the user's application and not the wisun stack.
