CC1200: Smart RF Studio 7 reports error after upgrade

I have tried a CC1200 with a TrxEB board, and I cannot reproduce your issue (SmartRF Studio 2.28). Can you delete and reinstall the applications?

I have uninstalled Smart RF Studio, cleaned folders with it's files and reinstalled Smart RF Studio, Unfortunately, it doesn't start with the message:

"The application was unable to start correctly (0xc000007b). Click OK to close the application." The same message is reported for the Flash Programmer 2.

My PC runs Windows 10. It looks like Smart RF Studio works fine on PC that did't have this software before, but reports error on PC that used previous 5 year old software, Is it possible to ask designers of this software?

I can ask them, but I need more information. Do you happen to use a 32 bits version of Windows 10?

Also, the strange thing is that Flash Programmer 2 has not been updated in a while, but both software are based on the same frameworks.

It would also be great if you could provide us with logs of the crash from the Windows Event Viewer.

My PC didn't use 32 bit of Windows 10. It was upgraded from Windows 7 to 64-bit Windows 10 few years ago. Does this PC need Windows 11 in order to run the current version of Smart RF Studio? The Windows Event Viewer didn't give a lot of, see attachments.

The designers are thinking of a permissions issue, is the same error happening when you install the software in another folder?

Yes, I have the same error regardless of location of installations: C:\Program Files (x86)\Texas Instruments\ and C:\Texas Instruments\ .
