Is it possible to connect a CC-DEBUGGER directly to a CC1101-Q1 device or does it need to be on an evaluation board? or does it need to be on an evaluation board?

Good Day. Please see below the response of our expert to your query. Thank you very much.

I have connected the test board to the debugger but it says no device found. I thought this may be because it was looking for a host micro on one of the development boards but I guess the board I have must have an issue with it. I’ll continue debugging now that I know the debugger can talk directly to this IC.

Atypical error source here is that pin 2 is not connected to VDD on the target board. Please check how the connection is done.
