Hi,

You can use two devices with one another without doing any kind of pairing. You can just use two boards out of the box and use SmartRF Studio for sending and receiving packet between the two.

However, if you e.g. have one one receiver and two transmitters that transmits packets, and you want to receive packets only from one of them. Then, you can use address for that.
