Hello Forum,

I am using TI's CC1101 module with EFM32GG11 giant gecko EVM kit. I can read and write the SPI registers of CC1101 but not able to transmit data over RF (transmit strobe is not working). The same CC1101 and the same firmware with Atmega16A it is working

I am able to send and receive data over RF medium with Atmega16A but with EFM32GG11 only, transmit strobe is not working. I am not sure what is happening with the EFM32GG11 but is there any thing which I should set and try to check transmit.

If the CC1101 EM is the same in both cases, and it works with the Atmega16A but not the EFM32GG11, you need to monitor the SPI for both setups and see what the difference is.

In addition to making sure that both devices send the exact same data over SPI, you also need to check with a scope that the SPI of the EFM32GG11 is according to the SPI spec. for the CC1101.

The plots does not make sense without CSn, and it is also hard to tell what is going on when there are so much data being transferred.

The only thing you should show in the plot it the following:

Reset of the Radio
Configuration of the registers
Write x number of bytes to TXFIFO
Strobe STX
