CC1101-Q1: CC1101-Q1

Part Number: CC1101-Q1

Tx-If-CCA,

Hi is that setting required for FCC compliance.

I understand that the registers in the application notes may have been using this setting.?

We however would like to potentially develop a Tx only version that once configured in this mode simply starts up and sends (one-shot) a very short packet 15 bytes at 250kbps

Can we change MCSM1.CCA_MODE  to 00 and still be FCC compliant?

Regards,

  • Hi,

We have no FCC modular certification for CC1101-Q1 so you can change all settings if you want just as long you pass your own emission tests.

    Best regards, Sepp

  • Thanks Sepp, i just wanted to confirm weather setting MCSM1.CCA_MODE to other then default 11 setting would affect some compliance within FCC devices in the 902-928MHz spectrum . I believe that the EU and ETSI have some requirements on use of CCA. Wasn't sure about FCC. Specifically, i was wondering about the DN006 - CC11xx Settings for FCC 15.247 Solutions By Kristian Skogvang and Sverre Hellan as that i believe uses this default setting.
