Hello everyone,

I'm trying to make a receiver using CC1312. I started with Texas's own example "rfPacketRx_LP_CC1312R7_tirtos7_ticlang". But when I enter debug, the code does not continue. I did not interfere with the code in any way. When I follow the code, it gets stuck in the RF_penCmd that it returns in RF_runCmd.

Does anyone have an idea?

Do you mean that if you press the "Continue" button in the debug session:

The program is staying stuck, and the led is not blinking on the board?

Yes, this is exactly the problem. The code comes from the "PowerCC26XX_standbyPolicy" function to idle_loop and crashes. I don't understand why the sample code does this. This only happens in rx sample codes.

Oh yes, I see that you are using rfPacketRx, which will indeed pend UNTIL it receives a radio packet.

This is the expected behavior of the example.

Do you have another launchpad, or radio device you can send packets with?

Yes,I'm transmitting with another eval. The code I used for Tx is in the link below. I can see the transmit data on the spectrum analyzer.

Thanks for the information,

By default, the rfPacketRx example expects packets that are at most 30 bytes long.

Are you also using the default rfPacketTx example? If you are still trying to transmit 255 bytes, rfPacketRx will not receive them.

The rfPacketTx example has been updated as given in the link. I'm currently trying to write the RX floor. I also did the 30byte update you mentioned. I increased it to 255bytes. But there was no change. If you notice in the updated code in the link, RF_cmdPropTxAdv.pktLen = 0; is set to . This means unlimited transmit. I couldn't do the same for Receive, I guess that's where my problem is.
