CC1101-Q1: CC1101-Q1(CC1101QRHBRG4Q1 ) cannot communicate with CC1101

Hello E2E community,

I'm encountering an issue with communication between CC1101-Q1 and CC1101 modules, and I'm seeking assistance to troubleshoot and resolve it.

Background: I recently purchased two CC1101 modules from Ashining for pre-development and testing purposes (since there are no CC1101-Q1 modules available in the market ). During this phase, the modules worked flawlessly, demonstrating successful communication. However, upon receiving our own product PCBs, which integrate the CC1101-Q1, and flashing the program onto them, we encountered communication issues between the CC1101-Q1 and the CC1101 modules.

Problem Description: After flashing the program onto our PCBs, we configured one CC1101-Q1 module in TX-Mode and one CC1101 module in RX-Mode. However, we found that no data was being received by the RX module. Surprisingly, when we tested communication between two CC1101-Q1 modules (one in TX and the other in RX), communication worked seamlessly. For clarity, the following table is presented:

Additional Information: Our hardware engineer conducted tests on the transmission antenna signals and found differences between the signals generated by the CC1101 and CC1101-Q1 when used as transmitters. In the provided graph, the yellow signal represents CC1101-Q1, while the purple signal represents CC1101.However, due to our limited expertise, we're unable to interpret what this difference signifies.


Request for Assistance: I'm reaching out to the community to seek insights into why the CC1101-Q1 module is unable to communicate with the CC1101 module. We've verified that the PCB assembly and connections are correct, and the firmware has been flashed correctly. However, we're unable to pinpoint the root cause of the communication failure.

Could it be a compatibility issue between the CC1101-Q1 and CC1101 modules? Or are there any specific configurations or settings that need to be adjusted to facilitate communication between them?
