LAUNCHXL-CC1310: Modifying the RF echo examples to allow for tracking the RSSI.

Part Number: LAUNCHXL-CC1310
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: CC1310

Hi I am trying to modify the ti_nortos rf echo examples for the TI CC1310 launchpad to allow for measuring the RSSI on the receiver and transmitting them back to the transmitter.

I am currently stumped on where the RSSI is located in the data entry. It seems not to be in the code. Is this added to the data section or does this require modification of the data entry types.

Also data entries only store 1 byte according to the comments in the example. Is this true?

Could someone explain how the length and status bytes are accessed and used in code. Also what limits the number of data entries to 2 at the top of the program.

Thanks for the help.
