Hi,

We encountered an issue while debugging CC1200. There are three types of data transmission communication modules, one of which is a chip from another manufacturer with an unknown model and the datarate is 9600, FDEV=4KHz， The frequency is 460MHz, numbered as 1; One is a data transmission communication module based on CC1200 developed by other companies, with the datarate 9600, FDEV=2.4KHz， The frequency is 460MHz, numbered 2; The last one was made by ourselves based on CC1200, with datarate 9600, FDEV=2.4KHz， The frequency is 460MHz, and numbered as 3. Number 2 can communicate with Number 1, while Number 3 cannot communicate with Number 1. We need technical support. Is there any parameter that hasn't been set correctly?

Module 1 (unknown model):
- Frequency: 460 MHz
- Symbol rate: 9600 Baud
- Deviation: 4 KHz
- RX Bandwidth: ?

Module 2 (CC1200 - other company):
- Frequency: 460 MHz
- Symbol rate: 9600 Baud
- Deviation: 2.4 KHz
- RX Bandwidth: ?

Module 3 (CC1200 - your company):
- Frequency: 460 MHz
- Symbol rate: 9600 Baud
- Deviation: 2.4 KHz
- RX Bandwidth: ?

Module 2 can communicate with Module 1 but Module 3 can not communicate with Module 1.

Could you please complete the information with the RX bandwidth for each of the modules?

RX bandwidth: unknown, about<20KHz;

Module 2 (CC1200 - other company):

- RX Bandwidth: 12KHz

Module 3 (CC1200 - your company):
- Frequency: 460 MHz
- Symbol rate: 9600 Baud
- Deviation: 2.4 KHz
- RX Bandwidth: 14KHz

thank you for the details.

From a software point of view: Are you using serial mode or FIFO mode on your CC1200?

Also can your module (Module 3) communicate with Module 2?

Hi Zou,

did you verify that you are checking for the correct sync word and so on with module 3 when you try to communicate with module 1?

Under normal circumstances, GMSK and GFSK cannot communicate, right. It's very strange that Module 2 can communicate with Module 1. I don't know what parameters of CC1200 they debugged.

Have you performed a conducted static unmodulated Tx test on each of the modules to determine the frequency offset in kHz ?
