CC1120: ALTERNATE BALUN FOR 868/915 MHz

Hi,

According with the Design Note DN039 (SWRA407), we were using for the balun the references from Murata: LFD21868MMF1D386 and from Johanson: 0900PC15J0013

We would like to find a third reference compatible with Murata’s and Johanson’s PNs.

Do you know another balun PN that could be used with the CC1120? We tried to find one but It has been impossible.

It seems that both references were made "ad hoc" for the CC1120 driver.

    Hi David,

    Murata and Johanson are the only IPC providers for these devices.

    The alternative is to use one of the reference designs using discrete SMD components. These typically have better performance (and usually a lower cost) at the expense of a larger PCB footprint and a more complex design as the recommended layout should be followed for the relevant reference design.
