Build Errors with SimpliciTI project using GCC

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: SIMPLICITI, MSP430FG4618, MSP430F1612, MSP430F1611, MSP430F1610, CC430F6137

I have created a SimpliciTI project MSP430FG4618 today and tried to build the same but got 96 build errors. What can be the reason for the same and how to fix the errors?

Please anybody who already done compiling the SimpliciTI project with GCC on CCS v6 IDE.

  • I am having similar kind of trouble in building my Simpliciti CCS project for ez430-rf2500 ..Kindly put some more information on compiling a Simpliciti CCS project using the latest version of CCS 6.0.1...instead of showing the CCS 4 in your pdf manual
  • I think the steps are the same even if the windows looks abit different.

    Window -> Preferences:

    Project -> Import Project:

    I could resolve the issue by modifying the bsp_msp430_defs.h file. The modified file is included for your reference.
