CC1150: CC1150 for 433mhz

I am trying to develop a transmitter and receiver that will send and receive signals via 433mhz.

I want to make sure that whatever I design will end up being able to pass the FCC.

Someone told me that the TI CC1150 is a good chip to use.

Are there reference circuits for the transmitter and receiver that can talk to one another that if I follow will allow me to get FCC certification without too much pain?

CC1150 is a transmitter only and is therefore not a good choice if you want both to receive and transmit. The closest to CC1150 is CC1101, you can find the reference designs here: www.ti.com/.../toolssoftware

If you want an wireless MCU you can also look into CC1310 (www.ti.com/.../CC1310)

I would like to have 2 different devices. One with a transmitter and one with a receiver. Given the CC1150 is the transmitter, what is its sister receiver chip?

Also, when following these reference designs, is it a pretty sure bet to be able to get FCC certification?
