Hi To All,

I'm struggling to design a link between my CC2510 and the USB receiver CC2511.

I have the CC2511DK_dungle and one CC2510DK-MINI kit. The example between CC2510 between the remote control works fine, but the CC2511DK i can't make it happen. My goal is having the two remote controls communicating with CC2511 and then i will design a GUI to do certain functions in the windows.

I upload the rf_modem.hex to CC2511 with SmartRF Flash Programmer, but as i don't have the CC2510-CC2511DK kit how could i make it start working?

Debbug works, IAR works, but in the Packet sniffer i don't see the communication. Maybe I'm too dumb... and doing wrong steps...

Any suggestion and steps that i would need to do to make the dungle start working?

The RemoTI stack is not built for the CC2510/11.

RemoTI is built for the CC2530/CC2531/CC2533 parts. A simple sample application to implement a remote control is bigger than 32KB, but it fits on the 64KB parts.

Ahh!

Ok, So is there any other starting code that i could use with CC2511 as a transceiver?

I actually was able to start writing my code with that...

and I fill more comfortable now after reading the datasheet more carefully too.

I will study more and I'll get back here when i needed...

Hi,

I'm working on the PCB for my CC2511 and using the balun in the antenna path BD2425N50ATI.

I read the ANN2003 application note, but the board that I'm working on is 30 mils of thickness and the inductor and capacitor is 0402.

The Application note is standing that the values of track width and length is for different board thickness and 0201 parts, but using 0402 parts needs to be modified.

Does anybody know or have designed the board and could help me with that?

My material is FR4, 30mils and 1oz of copper and for the unbalanced 50 Ohms port I calculate using MWI-2008 software as shown below. My track would have 60 mils and 45 mils of space to the ground plane.

My question would be what about the Length from unbalance port to my SMA strait connector?

What would be also the length from the CC2511 to the inductor and then the inductor to the balanced ports of balun? and for this what would the width?
