We are utilizing the CC1110 as the SoC for our communication card on a CubeSat. We need to be able to flash the memory on the SoC with a hex file generated by us to run the communications the way we need it to run. We are designing our own PCB and discovered that you can't program the CC1110 directly from USB, you need to use the CC2511 as a USB controller. Can anyone explain exactly how this is physically connected to the CC1110 on the SmartRF04EB so that we can reverse engineer the SmartRF04EB to design our PCB to use the CC2511 as a USB flash programmer for the CC1110. We also need to determine how the CC2511 is controlled in code too, any information or pointers toward information would be appreciated. Thank you!
