LAUNCHXL-CC1352R1: Can't connect to launchpad

I unpacked the launchpad. Connected it to the desktop USB to power it up. Downloaded SimpleLink Started on my smartphone. It didn't find Project Zero. Instead found some three things with a combination of letters and numbers. Tried to connect to any of these, but unsuccessfully. Is my launchpad defective? Or what am I doing wrong?

Hello Victor,

There might be other devices around you advertising and that may be what you are seeing.
One thing you can do is re flash it with project zero to make sure you have the latest image flashed on the device.
It doesn't sound like it is defective, you can find the project here: C:\ti\simplelink_cc13x2_sdk_2_20_00_71\examples\rtos\CC1352R1_LAUNCHXL\ble5stack

Just import it to ccs and flash the device

OK. I'll try it later tonight. Is this file an executable or after downloading it I need to run it using another sw tool?

This is the full source code. It is a CCS project that you can import into CCS and just press the debug button while the board is connected and it will flash it.

After installing CCS things got a lot easier. I downloaded ProjectZero and now it works!!! :)
