CC1110-CC1111: CC1110 maximum operating temperature

Hi TI expert,

We have a thermostat application which utilized CC1110F32RHHR.  The application has been designed to work in harsh environment where the operating temperature constantly keeps in 80degree C. I would like to know if there is any calculation tools which enable us to estimate the life time of CC1110F32RHHR. Thanks

    Hi Peter,

    CC1110 is rated for operation up to +85°C. The lifetime of the chip will be dependent on how you use the chip, i.e. if you use the radio very often (high current consumption) it will live shorter than if it sleeps most of the time. How do you plan to use CC1110 in your system?
