CC1312R: Is a direct code move-over from CC1310 to CC1312 possible?

We have developed a system using a proprietary protocol on the 868MHz band. Now we need to also have BLE connectivity and need to use the CC1312R. Can the code for the CC1310 be used "as is" for the CC1312R by just compiling for the Cortex M4F instead of the Cortex M3?

More or less, yes. Since the board files are a bit different from CC1310 to CC1312 (some more interfaces have been added to the file) the easiest would probably be to download the CC1312 SDK, open the empty project and copy your project files into this project and then try to compile. Then you will have the correct project setup for the device and you don't have to worry about this.

Since you need BLE capability, I suppose you need to use CC1350 or CC1352R not CC1312R

Thanks for the answers. It basically confirms my assumptions.

@ YK Chen: Yes, I realized that after I saw there is a bug in the webpage's links to the products. The links for the CC1312R actually take one to the Info and Doc pages for the CC1352R. I got the correct info by doing a search for the CC1312R and following the links that are then displayed.

@TI: Maybe fix the links as customers (like me) will get the wrong info on the CC1312R through the www.ti.com/.../overview.html page.

I can't see a link to CC1312 from the overview page you gave the link to. Could you give the exact location of the link that linked to the wrong place and I will file a ticket to get it fixed.

Hi. The actual page is located at http://http://www.ti.com/tools-software/launchpads/launchpads.html.

The CC1312R is the right-hand one of the first 3 products to be displayed. Both the "CC1312R LaunchPad Development Kit" and "Tool info" links take one to the relevant CC1352R pages, and not the CC1312R pages.
