SMARTRFTRXEBK: Connecting an External MCU - Can the reset pin be tied high?

I don't have extra GPIO on my external MCU board to control the reset pin (RF_RESET_N/P7.10). Can this pin be tied high somehow on the TRXEB?

Is it still true that you only have UART available?

Since this is the reset to the EM, you should be able to set a pull-up on this signal and send a SRES strobe to reset the CC1120 when needed.

With UART not being an option, we removed (with some effort) to remove another radio on our MCU board (this was a Lora module). This freed up the 5 GPIO pins for the Lora module, to use on the TRXEB. But but now, I'm still short of one more for the reset.
