CC1310: Frequency bands of CC1310

Part Number: CC1310

Hi,

Could you elaborate the notes 1 means?

is it just functionally? if want to test performances, it can't be guaranteed? or the connection might be not stable?

why is there overlaps between with and without note 1?

if customer has a request in the Marked band, do they need to raise a ticket here for a RF setting support?

  • To develop a reference design and making kit is a timely process and therefor we do this for the bands in common use. To do full characterization which is required for getting data into the datasheet EMs are required that follow an optimized ref design. Hence for the frequency bands marked with 1) we don't have a reference design and can therefore not run a characterization. Since we don't have EMs tuned for the bands we have not measured RF performance either. What we have done is to ensure that the VCO performance is good on these bands.

The bands are basically the VCO frequency divided down. The VCO frequency range divided by a given divider factor gives overlapping bands in some cases.

In most cases, using the settings that are given for the frequency band closest to the band you want to use will give good performance but the customer should do some verification to validate this.
