CCS/CC1312R: About enabling CC1190 by define CONFIG_RANGE_EXT_MODE

Hi TI:

We use simplelink_cc13x2_26x2_sdk_3_20_00_68 with CC1312R1 (Chip Rev E) / CC1190.

From TI15.4-stack user's guide -> CC1190 PA/LNA support section, can we modify CONFIG_RANGE_EXT_MODE to APIMAC_HIGH_GAIN_MODE to enable CC1190?

Yes, this is possible by enbaling the PA?LNA support flag on the congig.h file

Thanks for your reply.

We use simplelink 15.4 stack cc1312r1 sensor project and modify flag on the config.h,but dio28~30 didn’t have right status (always status low)after we run the sensor project.

And We also do the same thing with cc1310/1190 under simplelink cc13x0 3.20 sensor project , it’s workable. Dio28~30 change high/low status while RF tx/rx is working.

Do you have any suggestion that we can try this feature?

Hello,

After some testing and reviewing, the 13x2 SDK is not including LNA/PA files to control those signals. I recommend you install the CC13x0 and copy over those files.
