Hello,

I try to evaluate the 6LoWPAN examples TIDA-010032 and TIDA-010024 together with a CC1190 Range Extender on the gateway.

The setup is working well, if I use CC1312 and CC1310 Lauchpads as a Coprocessor. But if I try to use the CC1310-CC1190 LaunchPad, the gateway is not able to detect the sensor nodes.

I already configured the host.config.h in the collector application:

and checked the I/O configuration in features.h for the coprocessor:

Can you tell if the CC1190 is supported in this example applications?

If not, where is a good starting point for implementing this in the 6LoWPAN stack?

Hi,

The TI Designs TIDA-010032 and TIDA-010024 are meant for CC13x2 devices.
Consider using TIDA-010003 for CC13x0.

sorry for my poor explaination.

As sensor device I use CC1312 together with TIDA-010024.

TIDA-010032 runs on BBB (I use Raspberry Pi) and can use CC13xx as CoProcessor. Together with CC1312 and CC1310 LPs, everythink works fine. Only with the CC1310-CC1190 LP I have this issue. So my guess is that the driver for CC1190 is not working properly in TIDA-010032.

Hello Felix,

I would recommend you match the SDK version of the nodes with the SDK version of the coprocessor, this would be my first step.

Re build the cc1310-1190 using that version, then modify the collector application in the Rapberry Pi and rebuild. Remember that you need to rebuild the application in order for it to take effect.

As a reminder, I would like to point out that these reference designs are meant as a proof of concept and are not meant to be used as an end product, if you want 6LowPAn I recommend you use our OpenThread stack or Contiki.

Another solution for your application (I believe that I have been helping you in another thread) would be to use 15.4Stack in FH mode.

Hello,

as I know, OpenThread is not running on 868 MHz and CC1312, right?

The reference designs, mentioned above, are based on TI-15.4 FH and Contiki. Up to now, this stack runs very stable for me, so I would prefer to use it further.

I just want to know, where is a good starting point to fix my issue with the PA driver. Is this exclusively realized in the CoProcessor?

I also double-checked the SDK version. Both nodes are compiled with the same one as in the reference design.
