LAUNCHXL-CC1352P: Reference design for 433 MHz, 868 MHz and 915 MHz

Part Number: LAUNCHXL-CC1352P
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: CC1352P

Hi, TI team,

I am designing a product using CC1352P and wondering if the reference design is the same for different band of 433, 868 and 915 MHz?

I figure if the band is different, then the balun and filter circuits should be different accordingly, but what I've see from LAUCHXL-CC1352P schematic, it is using the same design and parts for all the bands.

Should I follow LAUCHXL-CC1352P schematic and use the same parts for all the bands?

Best Regards,

Evan

  • The match is equal on 868 MHz and 915 MHz but you need a different match for 433 MHz.

I assume that you want one RF path on 433 MHz, one on 868/ 915 MHz and then in addition have the opportunity to send with 20 dBm on 868/ 915 MHz?

  • Hi TER,

    Thank you for your reply.

Do you have the reference design for the match of  433 MHz?

Actually I’m designing a module using this chip, so I’ll have two different part numbers for 433 MHz and 868/915 MHz, since the match is different.

Is that okay if I copy the LAUCHXL-CC1352P for the match for band 868/915 MHz? And use different match for 433 MHz. (If you have the reference, please share with me)

    Best Regards,

    EVAN

  • For 433 MHz you can use the following (0201 components):

And yes, you can copy a 869/ 915 MHz path from a LAUCHXL-CC1352P
