CCS/BOOSTXL-CC1120-90: Interfacing CC1120 Boost with TI launchpads

It is mentioned in the datasheet that CC1120 Boost is designed to be used with the MSP-EXP430F5529 and MSP-EXP430G2553 LauchPad development kits. Does that mean that we cannot interface them with any other launchpads although the interface is using SPI?

It is designed to be used on the launchpad or be used standalone together with SmartRF Studio for ease of use. But you can of course connect this to a SPI interface and use a different MCU control the board. You just have to ensure that the MCU support the SPI interface as described in the CC1120 datasheet.
