CC1120EM-420-470-RD: We want to try packet communication between cc1120 and cc1020.

Part Number: CC1120EM-420-470-RD

We want to try packet communication between cc1120 and cc1020. First of all, the packet format for cc1020 is unknown.

I understand that in order to communicate with the packet, we need to know both the primable and sync words at the same frequency. The packet communication between cc1120 is currently in the state of checking the packet communication by setting a register with the same conditions. However, packet communication works well even if the length of the primble and the data are different.
Shouldn't the communication not be possible if the data is different from the original primble length?
If the sync word is set differently, the packet communication is not possible at all, or the wrong packet is received.
I wonder if there are other registers that are necessary for packet communication.

Finally, even though the primble between cc1120 was different, I want to know how it is in cc1020 and cc1120.
Thank you for reading through.
