Hi Team,

Good day.

Customer is working in a project in which they are using 3 DC motors and 6 Ultrasonic sensors.

Customer want to confirm if they can directly operate the driver with microcontroller without any isolation to run motors (DRV8871PWM motor driver) without damaging the IC?

    Hi,

    On the CC1350 ref design there is a ferrite bead that isolates and allows for some filtering on the VDD power lines. There is a wide range of ferrites available and a ferrite bead can also be used to filter the DC motors and ultrasonic sensors as well if they cause any interference. 

    RF wise, I do not see any need for any additional isolation such as SAW filters.
