I am trying to get temperature and humidity data from the HDC2080 sensor of LPSTK. For this, I have first try to run an example project. When I am running this project on LPSTK, it shows only zero all the time as a temperature value. Please suggest I resolve this problem. I want to access the TMP117 sensor from this example project to get temperature value so that I can learn to use HDC2080. In the attached image I am showing the output result of the example project i2ctmp.

Hi Abhay,

Have you made any modifications to the project?

Do you get any error messages from the i2c functions? If yes, what are they?

No, I have not made any modifications to the given code. I have just debugged and run the code on LPSTK. No error received from any function.

I am using the CC1352R launchpad to debug the code on lpstk. I hope connections are fine for jumpers as I have run some other examples with the same configuration.

Hi Abhay,

Can you access any of the other sensors?

What have you already tested to access the sensor?

Can you run the multi_sensor project and see if you get any values from the sensor in the log?

I have sucessfully run i2copt3001 example project on lpstk. In this example project I am correctly receiving the optical sensor data from sensor opt3001.

I'm not sure what you are doing. Since the LPSTK does not have a TMP117 you will not be able to read a temperature. Since the HDC2080DMB has a different slave address you have to change the code.
