CC1352P: Spur table from SWRA629A

Part Number: CC1352P

Hi,

Figure 24 and 25 in SWRA629A show the radiated emissions for the CC1352P with a matched filter balun.  There are markers visible on the spurs but there is no spur table provided, only a picture.  Can you please share the data showing what frequency each of the markers is at?

Thanks,

Arthur

  • I have notified the author of the app note and he will give feedback early next week.

  • The dominate radiated spurs are at the 2nd, 3rd and 4th harmonics. A spur table has not been provided since the Figures 24 & 25 provide a good overview of the radiated spurs.

Do you have any radiated spur issues when using this balun ?

    Regards,

       Richard

  • Thanks Torstein and Hi Richard,

We have the Johanson balun and we have a few spurs at frequencies below the carrier that could be a problem for our certification.  We have one at Fc/2 and one at Fc minus 48MHz.  I was looking for the table to confirm the exact frequencies of the spurs on the left side of your graph, since the image is to small to tell where the spurs are located and whether they correspond to the same spurs we see.

We do have a support email thread directly open with TI FAEs that I can add you to, if you want to share your email.  You may have already been looped in.  I just wanted to use e2e to ask the general question about the Matched Filter Balun app note.

    Thanks,

    Arthur

  • Hi Arthur,

The FCC levels for the frequency band below 900 MHz is -20 dBm and according to the plots that you sent to my colleague, your spur at fc/2 has a level of -40.8 dBm which is fine for FC15.247.

Let me know if we should take this offline or via E2E.

    Thanks,

       Richard
