CC1120DK: Can the CC1120 Transmit/Receive a 48KHz sync pulse

Can the CC1120 be configured to transmit or receive a sync signal at a rate of 48KHz? i.e. RF on RF off at a rate of either 48KHZ or 24KHz (and I use both edges).
I wish to transmit from 1 x CC1120 and receive on 8x CC1120's. I have 9 units place d100M apart in a pattern and I wish to Sync the point at which all 9 units perform a sample (minimum sample point tolerance possible).

Or would another simple link product be better suited for my requirement

Yes, you can configure the CC1120 to send an infinite length of preamble (sequence of 01010101) at 24bps in OOK mode and this would provide you with this sync signal you are trying to get.

That gets me the Sync pulse transmitted, how do I configure the CC1120 to receive this signal?

Laurence,

I would recommend putting the CC1120 into Sync Serial mode (this can be found in SmartRF Studio (and there is a help button that brings up documentation on how to connect an oscilloscope to the TRXEB boards to monitor these signals) and then the CC1120 device will start clocking out both a recovered clock and data on two GPIO's in realtime. (you will find a small fixed delay you will need to removed manually)
