RTOS/CC1310: CC1310 and CC1190 in TI 15.4 stack

Dear all,

I'm using CC1190 to booster with CC1310 in my custom board. I'm using TI 15.4 stack with sdk_1_60_00_21. I only need change in define PIN or other place?

I'm wonder how to CC1310 control CC1190 in source code?

Hi,

To enable the use of a PA/LNA such as CC1190 you have to set CONFIG_RANGE_EXT_MODE to APIMAC_HIGH_GAIN_MODE in the file config.h
In addition to this you will have to assign the correct pins for HGM, LNA and PA as you mentioned in your post.

Other than this you don't need to control the CC1190 from your source code, everything is taken care of by the TI 15.4 Stack. The stack will enable the LNA pin when the device is in RX mode and it will enable the PA pin when it is in TX mode in addition the HGM is always enabled.

Thanks Hector,

I did implement as you advise. But i have a concern when i show RSSI then between have CC1190 (-22dBm) and don't have CC1190 (-14dBm), I think with CC1190 is larger than so much.
