CC1352R: pinStandby example consumes a lot of power

Hi team,

I take the pinStandby example from SDK 2.2, remove jumpers from the board except power supply pins and measure the current supply about 25uA in standby mode using onboard Energytrace module(without debugging).

I tried to define all unused pins as PIN_UNASSIGNED but it has no effect.

Chip revision 1.1. Board LAUNCHXL-CC1352R1 rev. 0.4

How to achieve standby current around 1uA as stated in the datasheet?

The energy trace on this board has a fairly high noise floor which makes it not possible to measure the standby current with the current version. You can reduce the noise some by supplying the board from an external supply (not through USB) but for accurate measurements you need a instrument with higher accuracy.

Hi Vsevolod,

Try to put back the "RX" jumper. Removing this jumper is known to increase current drawn when the UART is not configured.

I tried to put back the "RX" jumper but i get the same current.

I connected the board to another power trace tool and get about 2-3uA with same code.
