CCS/LAUNCHXL-CC1310: Debugging in Code Composer studio Contiki CC1310 launchpad Project Hangs

I was successfully able to build the contiki CC1310 launchpad project using the steps mentioned in the pptx "Contiki and Code Composer Studio". When I was debugging step by step code gets hang at the line 93 in the contiki-main.c file LOG_INFO("Starting " CONTIKI_VERSION_STRING "\n");

I dont understand which console in code composer studion we can see the output. Also while debugging it is not moving forward.

Is there configuration to be done for this .

Please help me out in this regard

Which Contiki version are you using (Contiki-OS vs Contiki-NG)? And on which platform?

Have you disabled the watchdog?

we had no disabled watchdog

So you have not disabled the watchdog? Could you disable the watchdog and try again?

I disabled watchdog timer by commenting function of watchdog_init();

still code is getting hanged in line ( LOG_INFO("Starting " CONTIKI_VERSION_STRING "\n");) when i choosing step by debugging.

When I test this, it usually doesn't work after you download and debug it. You have to do "Board Reset (automatic connect/disconnect)" to make it work.

Yes, I have seen this before where you have to do a "Board Reset" after flashing the device. I'm not entirely sure why this is the case, but I suspect there are some missing/wrong settings the debug session generated by the default debug session setup.

Severin Suveren If you can see the same issue with CCS, can you try to locate the problem and provide fix? I am sure I follow the steps exactly.

I have tried to locate the problem before, but without luck though. CCS debug configuration is not easy to "get right". I'll take another look when I have time.
