CCS/CC1310: FCC test load that will provide mid / low / high channels for compliance testing

Hello all,

I am working on a project using a CC1310 that is currently at a FCC cert lab. Initially we provided a board that included the

15.4 stack, working in LRM and channel hopping. The FCC switches in the stack code are enabled. The lab has now come back requesting

us to provide a design that will allow them to select a specific Low / Mid / and High channel.

Does TI have a FCC compliance load that will provide this functionality?

Hi,

For the fixed channel testing. Set the channel to an unmodulated Tx carrier at the desired frequency and output power level. This can be done in SmartRF studio and the code exported if required.

I think this will work, that said for the sake of time we are going to send three boards back to the lab with each channel nailed up.

I am curious though, since a low, mid, high test is required for anyone wanting to use a TI chip in a commercial product why not

have a demo design called FCC mid low high?
