I am designing my own booster pack for msp430...In which i need to add 430boost-cc110l to msp430.so i ahve to connect 2 booster pack ...i need to let the pins free which are used by 430boost-cc110l ...so what can i do?

i am going to use 430boost-cc110l with msp430 ... 430boost-cc110l uses SPI communication for interfacing with MSP430..But i need to use I2C communication as well... anyone give me some idea for doing it so...

Hello Hemantharajan,

Modern boosterpacks follow a pinout standard to provide compatability, so I2C and SPI lines are on different pins. You can see the standard pinouts here: www.ti.com/.../build.html

Now, the CC110L is a very early boosterpack and I'm not sure what it's using pin 9 and 10 for. I'll see if I can get someone from that group to comment.

Does it have to be the CC110L or could a newer device like CC1310 work?

HI guys,

You can use the BoosterPack checker in the cloud tools to see which pins are used by various kits: dev.ti.com/.../

Flip to BoosterPacks and search for CC110L then select the CC110L RF BoosterPack. On the rigth hand side all used pins will be highlighted. Hovering the mouse over the pins will show their functionality.
