Good day to all,

I am doing a project with CC1310, the measured data would be uploaded to cloud via Rasp. I wonder can we connect 2 collector in 1 Rasp without conflicting data from those board? Currently, I used this https://git.ti.com/apps/tidep0084 to flash into mine collector nodes ( with a bit modified).

Hi,

I'd recommend using the newest version of the 15.4 gateway: www.ti.com/.../TI-15.4-STACK-GATEWAY-LINUX-SDK .

By default the gateway is designed for interfacing with one serial device (eg /dev/ttyACM0) through the NPI server.
You'd need to further develop to support multiple devices.

Can you elaborate why you need two collectors connected to the Raspi?
Why not have multiple sensors join the collector's network?

Hi,

It's about my thesis project. I was assigned to use example 2 collector nodes connect and upload data to Amazon web service (AWS) so that any conflict during transmission. The collector node might control several other slaves node and all those collector nodes will connect to AWS through Rasp.

Do you want the 2 collectors to each create their own PAN?

On the gateway this should be possible, but you would need to modify the NPI server to handle multiple serial devices (collectors).

Hi,

I understood your idea about NPI server to connect multiple device, however, how about I connect directly 2 collectors to Rasp by UART interface? Because the reason only for demo for my project that any conflict data between different collector.

This should not be an issue as long as the Raspi has 2 UART peripherals.
You will need to verify this.
