Hello

I am using CC1200EM for data transmission. In Smart RF Studio, the register export creates a register named

CC120X_IOCFG2 0x06;

This register configures the GPIO2 on the EM.

What is the role of GPIO2 in the data transmission as in the user's guide, it is mentioned that the micro-controller interface is with 4 wire SPI?

you can download the example software project to see how the pin is configured. I believe that particular pin is configured for RX interrupt to the MCU.

See table 10 in the userguide for the meaning of this GPIO setting.

Thanks for your reply. In the Smart RF Studio, the register exported for the GPIO pin is as follows:

CC120X_IOCFG2, 0x06;

And I have a GPIO2 pin on the P2.2 and I have activated the GPIO interrupt on this pin (P2IE |= BIT2) on the falling edge (P2IES |= BIT2)(I am using MSP430G2553). In the code, after writing the packet to the TXFIFO and strobe STX to send it, the code waits for an interrupt on this pin (P2.2), then repeats the write/strobe to STX action again. Is it the right procedure I am taking?

When I run the program, it is trapped in the wait for the interrupt. It seems, the P2.2 doesn't receive interrupt. Any ideas how to solve the problem?

I use the following to configure interrupt on MSP430G's P2.2 pin from GDO0 pin.

P2IE |= 0x04; // P1.4 interrupt enabled
P2IES |= 0x04; // P1.4 Hi/lo edge
P2IFG &= ~0x04; // P1.4 IFG cleared

callback as follows:

{
