HI,
i saw ti have new water meter design , on
the design was base on CC1312R2, may i ask can i use CC1310 to implement this?
Furthermore,
i find this one is using the DAC comparator while the one of TIDA -01228
is using the TDC .
1)Any benefit of using the DAC instead of the TDC?
2) according to tida 01005
"The LC excitationpulseis generatedfromthe NANDgate, triggeredby the digitalIO pin of theCC1312Rdeviceand RC circuit. In the Low-powerwaterflow measurementwith inductivesensingreferencedesign, the triggersignalwas directlyprovidedfromthe IO pin of the CC1310,and the triggertime of 250 ns was used. For one triggerevent, the triggerpin shouldbe drivenHIGHfor a singleprocessingunit and thenreleased.Becausethe sensorcontrollerin the CC1312Rdeviceusesa 2-MHzclockfor low powermode, the durationfor the HIGHstateis 1 μs (eachCPUinstructiontakes2 clockcycles). Therefore, the RC circuithereis usedto providea shortertriggertime.DifferentRC parameterscan be implementedfor differenttriggertime requirements."
so what is the point of using NAND gate to trigger instead of directly from IO?
3) In the reference design, the use of MOSFET was csd23285f5, this component is not easy for us to make prototype,
any other alternative you can suggest?
when considering other alternative, which factor we should focus ?
thanks
