CC1352P: ADS-B Receiver 978MHz and 1090MHz

Part Number: CC1352P

Hi Everyone,

I am new to the RF area and trying to select a RF receiver IC for my ADS-B data receiver project.

www.radartutorial.eu/.../sr24.en.html

The RF carrier signal is either 978MHz and 1090MHz. I know it is not what this chip originally intended for. But I saw on 5.9 RF Frequency Bands chapter on datasheet. It seems like those frequency are in the range.

That kind gives me hope this IC might work.

For the RF physical signal. it is just amplitude modulation. When carrier signal is present it is '1' and when it is not it is '0'. the data rate is 1MBit/s

"A dedicated Radio Controller (Arm® Cortex®-M0) handles low-level RF protocol commands that are stored in ROM or RAM thus ensuring ultra-low power and great flexibility." The quote from datasheet implies it can be programmed to support this protocol.

I hope you can answer me whether this IC will be suitable for my application.

Thanks,

Ziquan
