CC1200: Usage in Wireless Sensor Networks

Part Number: CC1200

Hi Ti community

I need to have wireless communication with the following characteristics. (The communication environment is in water)

1- The communication is bi-directional. I mean the chips at both sides of the communication be able to send and receive data packets (They are transceivers.)

2- The carrier frequency is changeable (434 MHz is desired).

3- And more importantly,  I need the communication to be able to have connection pick capability like RFID systems. In other words, if the chip at one side closes the chip at another side which advertising a unique signal, it can pick the connection and establish the communication.

After some searches, I came up with CC1200 a physical layer. Do you think this chip has the mentioned communication parameters?

Also, can you please let me know what communication protocol this chip is following?

Thanks and Regards

Saber
