CC1120: TRX_SW output signal control RF PA power

Dear Sir,

I have a question for CC1120.

I need design a CC1120 circuit and need use a RF amplifier.

I want to use "TRX_SW" signal to control a switch (maybe is MOSFET) to turn on / off the amplifier power.

1. Can I design a circuit like picture ?

2. If yes, can you recommend P-MOSFET (RF amplifier need 600mA)?

3. How does the dose MOSFET work when TRX_SW is in a floating state?

4. If not, can you recommend circuit ?

TRX pin is tied to ground internally when CC1120 is in TX
TRX pin is high-impedance when CC1120 is in RX

Does that give the wanted functionality?

Do you need a amplifier both in RX and TX or just one of them?

I need add a amplifier at TX mode. The transmit power need up 2 watt.

1) The concept should work, other customers use something similar.

2) Sorry, I don't have overview over what is available of PMOS

3) As long as you have a pull-up this should be ok since then the node is defined by the pull-up.
