We have a setup with an application that is using OAD. For programming, the hex file is merged with the BIM

Now, both the BIM and the application have CCFG settings in the code in much the same way.

Can I safely assume that only the CCFG of the BIM is used and the CCFG of the application is ignored?

Or do I have to make changes to accomplish this?

This sample application is flashed at the last page of flash along with a modified CCFG register forcing the start address to be the BIM. Thanks for your reply.

It's not really an answer to my question though. Maybe I explained it wrong.

I have a working program with OAD capabilities, all working fine. I just want to make sure now as that I can disable the JTAG for example.

Now the thing is that both the BIM and the application both have the same CCFG parameters you can set.

e.g. SET_CCFG_CCFG_TAP_DAP_0_TEST_TAP_ENABLE is defined in both BIM and application. How can I make sure that this setting is applied? Do I need to set it in both BIM and application? or only BIM, or only application?

Hope this makes my question clear?

Hi Marjin,

The BIM is setup to link the CCFG as part of its image. If you look at Application/ccfg_app.c of the BIM project you will see recommendations for modifying: removing the ccfg.c include and copying the contents accordingly, then modifying as desired. By default the CCFG is linked from the SDK and does not exist in the CCS workspace.
