CC2500EM_REFDES: Design Files

Hello Team,

Good day.

My customer is developing a board that contains CC2500 2.4 Ghz transceiver IC. They are trying to follow the layout specified in CC2500EM 062 design as we plan to use 0.062" FR4 PCB board in the end product. They tried to import the given .DDB and .PCB files in Altium. But unfortunately, the sample design archive does not contain all the necessary files. The Altium throws the error that the following files are not found: CC2500EM 062.PCB, CC2500EM 062.PcbLib, CC2500EM 062.SCH, CC2500EM 062.SchLib. These files are not present in the given reference design archive.

Can we provide these files?

This design was done in CadStar. We don't have Altium design files for this design.

Hello TER,

Thank you for this response.

The project in second archive was created in Protel(As mentioned in ReadMe) which they are trying to import in Altium. The second archive misses following Files: CC2500EM 062.PCB, CC2500EM 062.PcbLib, CC2500EM 062.SCH, CC2500EM 062.SchLib. As the raw project only .DDB file is provided which can not be imported to an Altium project without referenced files.
