I currently have the following hardware

  • Texas Instruments Smart RF05 Evaluation Board 1.8.1
  • Texas Instruments CC2510EM 3.0

Using the SmartRF Packet Sniffer, I aim to sniff packets from a CC2544 device. I believe the sniffer is unable to sniff packs at a data rate of 2MBSP.. Is this true?

  • According to the below document it is not supported.

  • Hi Paul,

Thank you for providing the answer to your question, as indicated in section 23.11 of SWRU283 the packet sniffer does not work for the 2-Mbps data rate.

    Regards,
    Ryan
