CC1200: RF Jamming/Algorithm code examples or references

Team,

Our friends have a need for an RF jam algorithm on our CC1200.

While they already have an RF jam algorithm in legacy products, it was based on an older analog reading of a voltage, and not a reading in dBm as the CC1200 can support.

Consequently, they have decided to adopt and convert all code related to RSSI based on dBm to get uniformity in the code.

This leads to remastering the algorithms and obviously RF jamming can be somewhat challenging…

Do we happen to have any code examples on RF jamming/algorithms we can point them to?

Thanks again TER and for others that may be interested wrt a potential RF Jamming implementation via a CCA (Clear Channel Assessment) scheme:

CCA as described in 6.11 (www.ti.com/.../swru346b.pdf) is RSSI based. If the RSSI is above a user configurable offset the channel is regarded as busy. RSSI is the energy in the channel meaning that the chip does not know if the energy is a packet or CW or other type of noise. The excel sheet referred to in www.ti.com/.../swra428a.pdf show how the various variable influence on the calculation of RSSI in addition to 6.9 in the UserGuide. We don't have an example showing CCA but it should be fairly straight forward to implement.
