I found LBT RSSI Threshold in code showed on below picture. (Listen Before Talk)

Just wonder if this relate to RSSI receiving or transmitting distance coverage?

what is this -83 doing?

Hi Larry,

This value is only used for listen before talk (LBT), it will not affect TI 15.4-Stack packets.

Thank you for your reply,

I am just wonder if I set LBT lower to something like -100dbm, will this help on sensitive?

since my devices's RSSI usually only can show down to -8x dbm after that the it will disconnect. so i wonder will this value cause the device not listen when lower than -83dbm?

Hi Larry,

LBT means that the device listens on the channel. If the value is already above -83 it will not transmit but rather go to the next channel.
