LAUNCHXL-CC1350: how to make the board receive information from a temperature sensor

Good night person, I never messed with this type of sign and I'm a little lost to carry out an activity. I need the board from time to time to read information about a temperature and humidity sensor. The teacher asked to program with contiki, but I don't use it or I never used it. I was following some books and even managed to do basic things like holding a button event. So basically I have the plate and a temperature sensor, this sendor has 3 connections (gnd, vcc and out), I would like to know how I can do it in contiki, to activate the pin that the sensor will be connected and from time to time, get his information, can anyone help me?

You should provide what interface this temperature sensor uses. Anyway, I guess it's ADC so you can try to use ADC reading to get temperature.

Yes, it's ADC, how can I use ADC to read the temperature, I'm a very layman in this part of the launchpad

contiki is covered on the contiki forum since this is not a TI product. How to use the ADC is covered multiple times on the forum, please do a search. In contiki NG you can use the TI drivers meaning that the ADC example in the CC13x0 SDK shows how the ADC can be used.

I had contributed ADC reading to Contiki which you can refer to https://sunmaysky.blogspot.com/2016/04/contiki-cc2650-adc-demo-using-dio23-as.html?m=1 and use it as a base to do your temperature reading.
