After a lot of work, I have fabricated some boards following the reference design for this wireless headset.

I am now at the point where I have to program the device /s. I found the PurePath Wireless configurator.

I can select the project, and it shows the image generation status, all ok.

I have the CC Debugger connected to t he computer, and one of the boards, and power on.

Pressed the reset button on the CC Debugger. This makes bleep bloops from windows, but nothing else noticeable happens.

The programming window isn't showing any connected devices.

I am not sure what to check next.

Hi,

Make sure to follow section 5 of the User's Guide. Then verify the computer detects the CC debugger and if relevant try this.

If you press the "reset" button on the CC Debugger after connecting it to the CC85xx, what happens?
Which color is the LED on the debugger (red =no chip detected)?
What does the PPW Configurator reports?

Hi Clement,

Below is a screen shot of the configurator. The CC Debugger has a green light. Reset button does as mentioned above. Windows 10.

Hi Dave,

Thank you for providing these details. It would be nice to verify using the Device Manager (a Microsoft Windows tool), if the debugger is properly detected by your system.

For what it worth, I would also try to open PPW with "Administrator Rights".

Ok, Looking in device manager, I don't see it - but I don't know what I'm looking for, or which group it should be in either...

I also tried run as administrator, the screen is the same as the image I sent before.

Hi Dave,

I would recommend to review the CC Debugger User's Guide (www.ti.com/lit/swru197) and ensure the Windows system is properly configured. You may also want to update the CC Debugger User's firmware.
