WL18XX-CERTIFICATION: Required Hardware for RF/EMI Testing: WL1837MODCOM8I + WL18XXCOM82SDMMC + ?

I have a customer wanting to validate the WL1837MOD in South Korea.  The lab has asked for an Eval Board and controlling software.  Reading through the WL18XX-CERTIFICATION documentation, the "TI Wireless Tools" User Guide recommends the two hardware items I mentioned above and the "COM8 board".  Is this the AM335x Evaluation Module (TMDXEVM3358)?  I'm wanting to verify this since the EVM costs $995.

Is there support for the PC to serve as the host and connect over USB to the WL18XXCOM82SDMMC and the WL1837MODCOM8I for RF/EMI testing in a lab environment (without the EVM as host)?
