LAUNCHXL-CC3235S: Compatible with BOOSTXL-C2KLED

Hi,

I have a customer who wants to build a Wi-Fi driven LED stripe control using the LaunchXL-CC3235S together with a BOOSTXL-C2KLED. Are those compatible?

If possible that the two are compatible, what are the requirements or instructions on what to do?

As I check the BOOSTXL-C2KLED, it is compatible on LAUNCHXL-F28027. I hope you can help us with regards with this query. Thank you very much.

Hi Ray,

You'll want to compare the schematics to see if the correct pins are connected through the BoosterPack header. The other aspect is software, which we don't have an example for you. You'll likely need to start with a GPIO example to create your sw.

Just confuse with your answer. Please help me to enlighten if it is possible that BOOSTXL-C2KLED is compatible with the LAUNCHXL-CC3235S both hardware and software since when I check on the TI.com, it is compatible with LAUNCHXL-F28027. Thanks.

Hi Ray,

Being supported is a complex question. If you are asking if there is ready available sw to allow you to use the board then the answer is no. SW development could be done on your side to make this work, as it just requires 4 PWM signals to be generated from our device. In this case, the HW is also capable.
